Tully's birthday outfit

My little niece Tully loves owls. I think it's her mum's influence actually. So I collected together a bit of special owl fabric and trim... and pondered and pondered and pondered. Such beautiful owls but it was really hard to decide what to do with it as the owl images do go in different directions. So I kept pondering. Then a fortnight ago I decided I needed to get my butt into gear. Given that we were going to see Tully for a whole week I thought it was best that I finished her dress.

So I came up with this cotton pinnie using the owl print as pockets on both the pinnie and wide leg hemp pants. I should have taken a close up of the trim around the bottom of the bodice and the leg, it also has cute little owl images on it.

Such fun fabric to work with!!
