I'm not sure how it happened but I seemed to have had a little break for a good part of the festive season... and some more.
I guess because I was doing Christmas pressie knitting, I didn't have so much to share.
Did you have a good Christmas?
Ours was.
Happy times with family and friends.
The kids had their first Christmas morning in their own home, which was very special for them. It really made us feel like we were proper grown-ups seeing our little ones open their Christmas presents under our own tree in our own home.
Today we're back from our holidays over Christmas and New Year.
It's been a busy time with lots of time spent on the road. Back and forth, from here to there and everywhere. We're all a little tuckered out now and definitely ready for some cosy nights in our own beds.
I hope you are all enjoying a lovely start to the new year.

Welcome back! I'm glad you had a nice break.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how Christmas knitting can cut into the time for everything else! I have big plans to start my Christmas knitting early this year ... We'll see if that actually happens!
We had a lovely Christmas (I sat back in the corner and knitted) This year I have told my family that Christmas is at our house. We only get one out of four in Adelaide at the moment and I agree with you Georgie- having kids wake up in their own house Christmas morning is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear that your xmas was a good 'un! I was taking every spare moment to knit.... and working on the to-do list for future projects. I can see a few more Tikki projects a-happening soon!!
