Ha ha like this will work, but hey, I'll humour myself and give it a go. I used to keep lots of to do lists, I even had a little notebook where I would write them donw, often I'd lose them though. On the top of one of my to do lists was 'find my lost to do list.' lol But this week I wish to accomplish the following
1. Finish custom pants order
2. make up some nice wipes for to the toilet for the litte toileting one
3. Finish the last of the ten pairs of pants ~ 2 to go
4. Decide on an outfit for Lily to wear to the wedding this weekend, and possibly make something. She could wear her organza and tulle skirt that I made for the last wedding, it's very cute with her painted tights underneath.
Maybe even make myself something ~ I've always wanted to make a KF dress, good chance to here ~ just to find a pattern for something autumnish and perfect for a Melbourne evening on a boat.~ ohh it's a cocktail party.
5. Make something really lovely from my cord stash ~ have a few ideas happening but not ready to share yet
6. Fleece longies
7. Work on my adult pinnie pattern (which will please Megsie no ends, no I haven't forgotten you!!) but I'm making the prototype for myself first. (well, actually this probably isn't going to get done at all, but I'm just going to put it out there anyway lol

Sparkle Little Pixie

Well, this little beauty is finished and pics taken. it has been so hard to get photos done this week with the dreary weather and rain... not that I'd complain about having rain!! Fabulous stuff even if it means all the metres of denim on my line today isn't drying!!!!!
I've had trouble really capturing the sparkle and prettiness of this fabric; might try a few more shots but otherwise I guess someone will get a nice surprise when it arrives!!!
I'm going to put this up with some old stock from my yahoo group and a pinnie that's being sold as a second. For dedicated readers of this blog (lol yeah, right) you may remember the saga of the ric rac rummage pinnie well, I've pulled part of it apart and resewn it, which has minimised some of the puckering but there is some still there; hence it being a second as I love this~ bit will do some more like this soon.

feeling the cord love again..
These were custom made for a little girl. Now she's back from holidays I will send them off to her. I haven't sewed with cord since probably the end of the last winter and making these pants made me remember just how much I love it!!! I'll be digging into my cord stash later tonight and you can guarantee there will be some cords coming out of there soon. Ooh, cord has a such a lovely feel and quality.
Lily loved these pants and wanted them for herself. "Make me some pink pants too, Mummy" she said when I told her they were for someone else.

Poor Bish
This is Bish. She's one of Lily's favourite dolls, the others being Jemima and Costa Rica Doll (yes, that's what she calls her) Bish has been well loved, and Lily keeps complaining to me that "Oh dear, Bish has a sore leg". Of course, Andy ribs me and says poor little Lily, mummy can't even fix her dolly. Well, I'm pleased to report Bish's leg is all better, as is her arm... and her back. she is definitely well loved, shame about the quality of her.
And how did Bish get her name? well, she's had it for about a year I reckon. I asked once when Lily was younger and apparently it's the noise you make when you do a wee, "bish, bish, bish" hmmm....

working through my knitting pile
Slowly but surely, and am being very good and not starting anything new until all the old projects are finished. First up, finished these a little while ago; a pair of Perfection Pants longies in Utiku Seaweed 8ply for Asher. They have a graduated wide leg and I did a nice thick moss stitch leg cuff which will fit him folded up now and Megsie will be able to fold it down as he grows.

Next up two little Mini Wonder Soakers that are actually overdue birth gifts; the gifts are late not the babies by the way. I love this pattern and wish I had tried it out when Lily was younger as all her soakers would have been in this; it's such a great fit. The first is made from hand-dyed Treliske organic merino (it's for a little kiwi boy, well his mum is) and the second is made from Utiku Ocean and coincidentally, his dad is a New Zealander. Hence the choice of NZ yarns for these two items. Now for a little lanolin fest!!!!

And just to tempt me to chuck in my knitting pact this stunning yarn arrived in the mail today. This was dyed for me by the lovely Elissa at Monsterknits It's Four Bags Full Merino and is exactly as I imagined!!! Thanks so much Elissa, I am absolutely blown away by it!!! It is sooo gorgeous and you are so generous!! I am a huge fan of Monsterknits yarn, they just happen to be having a stocking at their ozebaby store tomorrow evening, check out some of their stunning colourways!!!!!

Knitting pact update
well so far, I am doing extremely well. Big ticks for me on the following levels
1. I resisted the Monsterknits restock, don't now how as the yarn was sooo sooo stunning as always. (think I should get double ticks for that)
2. Despite a new pattern arriving in the mail (CPH), I have resisted the urge to rush out and buy the wool to knit it.
3. The Jo Sharp Alpaca Silk Georgette that I *need* to do the vest from the new Jo Sharp Knit book is still sitting in my cart
4. I finished off a WIP ~ Asher's longies
5. I have been working to finish my shrug.
Giving myself a big pat on the back :D
