  4. no megs, it isn't an olearia ;)
the olearia is a cardy, this is a dress or tunic and has a different yoke shape, round rather than raglan.
    A related pattern though :D

  8. Oh my goodness, I love it all, divine! I've just had a good look through some of your blog and your patterns and they are wonderful. Your work is really unique and gorgeous. Sorry for the gushing. So, have you got any advice for a beginner knitter as to a pattern? You wrote that your warp dress is beginner but I mean all I can do is plain and purl and have no idea how to increase or decrease. Should I start with your scarf maybe? Someone needs to design some gorgeous patterns like this for crocheters.

  10. Kate, thanks for the lovely comments, I like a good gush ;)

The best advice I have for a beginner knitter is check out some of the videos on www.knittinghelp.com. They are awesome, and have great vids for decreasing and increasing, which both are pretty easy once you get the hang of it, promise!!!

I had a look at your gorgeous blog, you're near Daylesford? I think Purls Palace may have stitch'n'bitches there. They're always great places for help with techniques as well.

  11. Ooooh love the top, have just finished two v2 olearia's for my 2 4yr olds and about to start one for my 6yr old daughter. When will it be here, please say soon, any test knitters needed? All three daughters love the cardi's, and so do I (of course!). Have also knitted a pile of milo,s and bloom,s, love your patterns.
